Today, design is unfortunately an exercise of style that is far removed from everyday's realities. The idea that we have of design is quite different... For us the relation that exists between the object and its environment should be above all within a functional framework, the object serving man and not the opposite. If beautiful has become the dictum for contemporary design, it is unfortunately too often used to the detriment of practicality. For us the object should be functional before being beautiful.
